Head of the department "Geodesy and geoinformatics"
The department is part of the "Land Resources and Cadastre" faculty and was established in 2004 as a result of the merger of the previous "Geodesy" and "Land Cadastre" departments. It is one of the main specialized departments of the faculty. It should be recognized that the "Geodesy" and "Land Cadastre" departments have their own rich history. In particular, the "Geodesy" department was founded in 1920 by professor I.M. Lebedinsky, one of the organizers of the Central Asian State University, and in 1934, under the leadership of the head of the department M.I. Maslov, it was given to TIIAME NRU with the entire teaching staff.
In 1963, the "Geodesy" department was divided into two - "Engineering geodesy" and "Aerophotogeodesy" departments. In 1989, due to the necessity of the times, these departments were reunited. From 1963 to 1976, the department was headed by the land surveyor who served in Uzbekistan, associate professor of technical sciences A.N.
