In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 9, 2003 N UP-3358 "On improving the system of state bodies of the republic" and further improving the management system in the field of land use, geodesy and cartography, ensuring rational land use and regulation of land relations in order to maintain a unified system of state inventories:
On the basis of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on land resources and the General Directorate of Geodesy, Cartography and the State Cadastre under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Committee on Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and the State Cadastre of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established.
The State Committee on Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and the State Cadastre of the Republic of Uzbekistan (here in after referred to as the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan “Ergeodezcadastre”). The State Committee on Land and Land Cadastre is an organization that interacts with other government bodies, local authorities, public associations and other organizations.

The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and the State Cadastre (“Ergeodezcadastre”) as the State Committee of Geodesy and Cartography of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 19, 2004 No. 483 is included.
The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Protection of Economic, Scientific, Defense and National Security, The State System of Cadastres and the creation of a central database of objects, the development of legal acts ensures the solution of a number of important state problems in the field of geodetic and cartographic support for other interests.
Scientific and Production State Enterprise "Cartography" (http://kartografiya.uz)
Tashkent Cartographic Plant was founded on January 13, 1934. In 2005, it was renamed the Cartography Research and Production Enterprise. The main activity of the state research and production enterprise "Cartography" is the design and production of cartographic products for open use. The company's products are aimed at assisting in the management of the national economy, science and technology, the development of inter-farm relations, the provision of demonstration and methodological instructions in the field of public education, tourism, transport development, and life. Since the creation of the IICDK Cartography, its main goal has been to provide defense and supply various cartographic products for the national economy of Uzbekistan.

The State Committee on Land Resources, Geodesy, Cartography and the State Cadastre of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the founder of the Land Code, the Land Code, the State Geographical Data Bank and the Decree are the only ones in the country. Based on the tasks of modern computer technologies in production, the creation of GIS-geo-information systems in order to maintain the policy, the main areas of activity of the enterprise are:
Creates and updates topographic maps and plans for state and special graphic, digital, photographic and other forms;
Creation of popular electronic cards;
Implementation of topographic, geodesic, cartographic studies of the required scale;
Attracting advanced GAT technologies to the network and facilitating management;
